⛷️ Swing Into Spring at Whiteface Mountain
Dates: Tuesdays & Fridays, March 18 – April 4, 2025
Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: Bear Den Learning Center
Perfect For: Beginner skiers and families
Looking for affordable spring skiing in the Adirondacks? Swing Into Spring offers $10 lift tickets, with optional rentals and a one-hour class for just $10 more. It’s the perfect opportunity to squeeze in a few more runs before the season ends.
🏅 U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame Weekend
Dates: March 26 – 29, 2025
Location: Whiteface Lodge & Mountain Area
Celebrate skiing legends during this multi-day ski and snowboard Hall of Fame induction. The event will include meet-and-greets, panels, and award ceremonies honoring the best in snow sports.
🍎 Apple Butter Open
Date: March 29, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM
Location: Whiteface Mountain
Great For: Recreational skiers and snowboarders
The Apple Butter Open is one of Whiteface’s most fun community ski events. It’s an open-format competition for all ages, with fun prizes and a festive atmosphere. Bring your best tricks—or just your best vibes.
💦 Whiteface Pond Skimming Competition 2025
Date: April 5, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM
Location: Round-A-Bout Trail
Registration: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Guest Services
Participants: Limited to the first 100
Say goodbye to winter with a splash—literally! The Pond Skim at Whiteface is a must-see. Brave participants attempt to ski or board across a frigid pond, many in costume. Prizes awarded for best costume, longest skim, and best splash.
